  1. Hi Mrs Francis,

I am new to your blog but so far it is awesome! *wink*
I think that this tells you that you don’t have to be perfect to be happy. Being perfect can have flaws too.

    • Well Shiro Wofie, thank you for your comments. I guess the story was saying so many things. Well done for picking up on the fact that you don’t have to be perfect to be happy. Look forward to future comments from you.

  2. Dear 5/6FR,
That video was telling us to never ever give up.
And this taught me to never give up.

    3/4M 🙂

    • Thank you Jennifer for stopping by and for your lovely comments about the Missing Piece. That’s right! Never give up. Look forward to your comments in the future.

  3. Dear Mrs Francis,
I watched the video and it taught me that no one is even complete and we have our own missing pieces. The video was very emotional. We can be happy when we are incomplete too.

    • Thank you Aaron for your comments. That’s right even when we think we are perfect and all is complete in our lives we discover that it doesn’t necessarily make us happy.

  4. Dear Mrs Francis,
I really enjoyed the video; the music is so peaceful. To me it meant that you can’t be with the same friends all the time. Everyone is not the same. You can stop and smell a flower even if you don’t have a friend. When you’re alone, and someone doesn’t like you then you can make new friends. You should never give up no matter what. When you’re really upset, don’t give up but just keep going and try to find some other friends.

  5. Hey Mrs Francis I just want to say that this video is very sad and emotional at the same time. I love this video because it has the picture of “pacman” as its main character. Now I think I know what it feels like to go in the circle of life. This video has more than one moral. To me the story says that all of us are missing one piece of our life. I think it is also about making friends and having adventures with them but don’t try to change your friends to fit in with you. I think the story is very cool and awesome. Thank you.

    • Thank you Tien for you great comments. That’s right, accept your friends for who they are, don’t try to change them.

  6. Hi Mrs Francis

The Missing Piece to me means that sometimes life without friends can be hard when you don’t fit in. Don’t try to change yourself to fit in. Also don’t try to change others aswell.

    • Thanks Ariki for your insight into the story. Yes, that’s true, don’t try to change so that you can fit in with others. At the same time, treasure your friends and accept them for who they are.

  7. The video means a lot to me. It was emotional and had a message as well. Everyone is not perfect, but finding the right piece is about making the right choices too.

    • I’m glad you enjoyed the Missing Piece, Jason. That’s right we are not all perfect and we do need to make the right choices in life.

  8. HI Mrs Francis,
It’s me Kuroi and I read this book when I was younger. I enjoyed this story because sometimes life has its ups and downs and nobody has to be perfect. All perfect people have flaws, and you don’t have to pretend you like a certain thing to fit in with everyone. Life is good and bad so you might have times where you don’t want to live and you are not happy, but in the end something good will happen and you will be happy again.

    • Wow Kuroi! I am so impressed with you insights regarding this story about the Missing Piece. I can only re-iterate your comments. Very well said.

  9. Hi Ms.Francis

To me this video meant that if you see a popular person don’t always think he or she has everything and that life is perfect for them. They too will have a missing piece in their life.

    • That’s right Shenell, just because other people’s live look perfect it doesn’t mean that it is. We all have missing pieces in our lives.

  10. Hi Mrs Francis!

When I watched the video I saw that you can be happy even when you are sad. I learnt that if you hold a friend too tightly they may leave you alone one day; we need to be gentle around others and most importantly try not to change people to fit in with you. I will remember that no one is perfect. I know that everyone has the strengh to get out of a deep hole. You will always have the strength to do anything. Just keep going on with your life!

    • Thank you Vi for your wise comments. Let’s all remember that we are not perfect but that we have to keep going on through life and take the time to “smell the roses” as we go on.

  11. Dear Mrs Francis,

The youtube video on the missing piece was emotional. When I watched the video it was something about friendship. You will make mistakes throughout your life, lose some friends and hold friends too tightly. You will also think that you have found the best friend that is perfect but soon you will not think so. You will then understand that not being perfect is better then being perfect.

    • Wow Christine. I think the story did ‘speak’ to you and that you took some vital messages from it. Thank you for your powerful comments.

  12. Hi Mrs Francis,

The video you put is a little bit sad and happy. I learned that if you stick with your friends too tightly you will lose them. It was sad when he could not find the perfect piece but in the end he worked out that you don’t have to be perfect and that you don’t have to change to fit in. The video has lots of messages in it.

    • Thank you Samantha for your comments. I am glad you saw the messages in the story. I hope you took some good things from it.

  13. Hi Mrs Francis the missing piece had a lot of meaning for me. It taught me to never give up and keep searching for whatever you need. The story has a lot of meaning to it. Thanks for posting it on the blog 🙂

  14. The video taught me that life can be hard if you don’t have any friends and it taught me that no one is perfect and the was video very emotional.

  15. Hi Mrs Francis,

The video was sad and very emotional. It taught me that not everything in life is perfect. The video clip can teach everyone that hapiness is more important than perfection.

    • I hope the wasn’t too sad for you Duy and that you learnt something from it. Thanks for your comments.

  16. Hi Mrs Francis
The Missing Piece was a very meaningful story. It made me think that everyone has a time of sadness and happiness in their lives. Not everyone and everything is perfect.

  17. Dear Mrs Francis,

I finished watching the emotional video The Missing piece. I was sad because most of the things shown on the video have happened to me. The video was really, really, REALLY, meaningful to me.

    • Wow Kyle! I hope it wasn’t too emotional for you. Obviously parts of the story spoke to you in so many ways. The good thing is that you took some important lessons from the story.

    • Thank you Johnson for stopping by and watching the video and for your comments. Glad you enjoyed the story.

  18. Kon’nichiwa mean hi

By the way Shiro Wolfie is my daughter.

  19. The missing piece story has meaning to a lot of people in life. Things that happened or things that might happen. The missing piece resembles when I was trying to find friends – some were too big and some were too sharp but then I found the right piece and the right friends.

  20. Dear Mrs Francis,
Sorry that I couldn’t comment on the blog yesterday. I had to do other things. I really like your video. Can you put more simular videos or poems? When I first watched it I thought it was a story. Is “The Missing Piece” a story or a poem?

    • Thanks for your comment Eric. I guess a poem can be a story as well, but just in a different format. I think this is a story, but in the format of a poem, if that makes sense.

  21. This music makes me feel really sad but I learned a lot from this video. I learned to never give up and whatever happens or whatever you started with keep achieving it so you can find what you are looking for.:)
